School Philosophy

At the Abaku Karate Academy we believe that the martial arts are for everyone. Consequently we tailor our programs to the needs, desires, and abilities of each individual student.         With this concept in mind we have developed a program that teaches Chinese Kenpo Karate. While this system dates back thousands of years, it is constantly evolving with new ideas.          Our programs are for everyone. Men, women and children, including the mentally or physically challenged, can all learn the art of Chinese Kenpo Karate in an atmosphere of safety and respect.       At the Abaku Karate Academy we offer a complete karate program.  There are both group and private lessons available.  There are classes in sparring, oriental weaponry and kata.  All classes are taught by certified black belts.
